Red absinthe inspired by the Parisian actress Paula Maxa, leading lady of the Grand Guignol theatre in the early 1900s. Nicknamed the “Princess of Blood,” her morbid fascination with horror and tragedy inspired her roles on stage as well as roles in her personal life.
